FAQ
We consider a site as canadian, if the site uses a .ca domain. This is because the registration of .ca domains is restricted only to canadian citizens. In the case of sites using a different generic domain extension (.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz), a publicly displayed canadian address is required to be found on the site.
Sites using domains with country code extensions other than .ca will not be listed.
Before submitting your site, make sure your site complains with the following submission guidelines:
Sites rated for a general audience are more likely to be listed. The Canadian Directory does not accept adult or gambling sites, or sites promoting illegal activities, or banned by search engines, or any site that we deem inappropriate.
Targeting the canadian territory is required. The structure of our directory place a great importance to the organization of listings in base to canada regions.
From our point of view, sites not targeting canadian territory are more suitable for general directories.
In order to preserve the quality of the Canadian Directory, sites without unique content or not showing some uniqueness, will not be listed.
In the case of clone sites, scraper sites, sites promoting only affiliate links or doubtful products or services, etc. they will be immediately rejected.
Directories of any kind won't be listed.
